Should I Get A Perm?

The perm will just straighten my hair. My hair gets really frizzy and can be a pain to deal with and I’ve always lived straight hair. Should I do it or will I regret it?

Okay, getting a perm is your choice and straight hair looks nice, but the side affect is usually damage and hair loss ..... but overall you should embrace your curls and do what you think is best. 🤷🏾‍♀️

I mean it’s ultimately up to you but do your research!! I got a perm (straight to curly) and it was nice but the perm has finally worn off and i have completely lost my natural hair type and texture. Its just worse now. I regret mine!! Just be careful especially bc they are really damaging to your hair so if you just keep redoing it your hair wont last. My mom got a couple perms when she was a bit younger, she kept doing them because she had the same problem as me (lost her natural hair; it was just frizzy) and all her hair fell out and it had never grown back. She has very thin brittle and short hair now because of it. You could always straighten your hair but once ur perm takes over you will have lost your naturally curly hair until it alllll completely grows out. I dont think its worth it. Especially considering how beautiful your hair is!!
