Diaper rash? —help!!

I’m not sure if this is a diaper rash or an irritation. It’s been here a few days and hasn’t gotten worse, but it hasn’t gone away either. We haven’t changed her diapers or body wash. What could it be?

I always sprinkle corn starch on when she is starting to get a diaper rash. works like a charm

My daughter sometimes gets red and irritated in that area and in the creases over by her legs. I normally let them air out without a diaper on for a bit and that helps. I also use aquaphor on the area too.

Coconut oil!! That’s all we’ve every used on our girl and she’s never had diaper rash or irritations.

looks like a diaper rash, usually I will transition between aquaphor and vasoline to get rid of it for every diaper change... if it gets worse or small bumps occur, then it could be a bacterial infection called folliculitis. we had to get an ointment from the pediatrician for that. but they said it's pretty common and usually goes away within a week of treating it. good luck mama!

We got our first diaper rash last week. She had a round of antibiotics and just like her mother, got a yeast infection.
We tried everything from auquaphor to Desitin max (even Lotramin) but it kept getting worse. Dr called in nystatin and within 4 hours it’s looking better
