Is anyone ever really financially ready???

Question

So my husband is 25 and I’m 22 and we were trying to get pregnant and when we got pregnant in March I ended up miscarrying in May. Now we haven’t been trying but not preventing either and now my husband thinks we should wait because he doesn’t think we are financially ready and honestly I’m crushed. He gets over 50hours a week and I work part time but working on getting another part time job. I want nothing more than to be a momma but do you think anyone is ever really fully financially ready?

You are never financially ready for kids. you just make them priority and the money follows. my husband used that on me too and I said then we will never be ready lol so we are currently trying for baby #2 lol

it depends. if you're paycheck to paycheck juggling Bills then probably not. if you have a decent amount of extra money after Bills and just dont save it or blow it all on random stuff then the capability is there, it's just a matter of the willpower and maturity to change your habits.

I don’t think anyone is fully ready-especially men being their main motivation is to provide. This is the exact story of me and my husband and it crushed me too. But we talked about it and realised that we are okay, it’s just his prospective as a man and a provider to have everything in check. Plus it doesn’t help that he’s a perfectionist, so his ideal of “doing well” wild be pretty unattainable. 
But you just make it work. I don’t think you can wait til you’re in the “perfect situation” to start a family cause the next month everything could change ya know? I always say, if we start a family and suddenly become absolutely poor, it’s only going to be a lesson of humbleness to our children and us.

Yes, it is absolutely possible and children should not be intentionally conceived before financial stability is reached. If you cannot afford to care for the child, including providing insurance for yourself and the child, it is not the time.
