I started NuvaRing about a month and a half ago. My SO and I just had sex for the first time in three months. Before, it was super easy and comfortable and I felt no discomfort at all. I still have the same sex drive- really high. So it’s not a question of whether or not I’m aroused enough bc I’m always soaked and into it. But as soon as he tries to enter me it’s just this awful pain. We go really slow so I can acclimate and eventually it’s fine but after it’s always painful. I think it’s bc my cervix is really low and he keeps hitting that as he enters me. Anyone ever experienced this on NuvaRing? Anything I can do? Any good positions or tips? I really wanna keep having sex bc what else is birth control for?! Any helpful advice is greatly appreciated as my SO and I are long distance and have only a few days together at a time so I wanna get this done now, haha.
