What are some thing y’all put in deployment care package?

Just wondering what are some of the things y’all put in the packages.

Pictures, blanket, coffee, jerky, slim Jim’s, candy, body wash/shampoo, card, playing cards, snack cakes, gum, hand painting from kids (if they have any)... not sure who you are sending one too, but I usually include some kind of special gift in each of my boxes to my husband. Examples: coffee cup or travel mug, custom pillow case, anything with his favorite sports team, new pair of tennis shoes, lovebook, etc.

Chapstick, lotion, snacks of course, q-tips, toothpaste, deodorant, etc.

I did hygiene items, coffee & powder creamer, hobby lobby has tons of little quirky items like light up lasers with sound

If you want to go quality over quantity I’d suggest something like a portable charger, plug adapters (most countries different wall plug ins), nice sunglasses (Z87 aka bullet proof), good razors, good chapstick and maybe some sun screen and also. All depends where you deploy.

I put 380 notes cards with love notes/good memories/dreams and silly jokes on them. Something to keep his spirits up while deployed. When our children were in diapers I would send one of their diapers so he could see how big they got. Then as our children got older we would send art and notes from them. He more wanted things that and football type items. I would also burn a ton of photos and videos for him on the things we are up to back home.

I sent one about once a month and did a theme. So like Valentine’s Day I did hearts, I sent crazy underwear each month to match, sent valentines to his team. HeArt cup etc. March was st Patrick’s day. I found a lot of silly things at the dollar store each month/ and targets hot spot and of course did food as well. I also did open when letters for him.
