Metformin side effect relief??? HELP!

I just started metformin as a prep for IVF, but the side effects are TERRIBLE! nausea, dizziness, sweating, shaking, diarrhea, the works. Anyone ever found a way to ease the symptoms?? I had to leave work today because I almost passed out a few times. any recommendations are welcome! Thanks ladies!

I took it not for IVF but before we started at a specialist and the longer you take it the better it’ll get your body just needs to adjust sorry I have no other advice I took some days off and just tried to rest at home for a while
