Just thought I would vent my frustration and see if anyone else has a similar story..

So apparently, according to this app, today is my peak day.

I’m cycle day 17, and I have not had a positive OPK yet this month. I’m EXTREMELY frustrated, and confused.

I’ve been using this app for about 4 months now and it’s been pretty spot on with everything, and if anything it’s only been a few days off in predicting my ovulation and period starting.

Last month was the first month using OPKs and they totally worked perfectly. I started taking them cycle day 5, and they gradually got darker and then cycle day 14 I got my first positive and for 2 days I had positives, and then cycle day 16 they started to lighten up, I ovulated, but of course, didn’t get pregnant. 🙄

So this month I started the process all over again. Cycle day 7 I started taking them and they have remained negative. Gradually getting darker, then lighter, then dark again, but are all negative. I haven’t had any egg white CM which I ALWAYS get. The only thing that happened this cycle that made me think ovulation was coming, was on cycle day 13 I started to get sticky stringy CM which always happens to me right before I get egg white CM but the egg white CM never came..

I seriously hate this you guys.. I NEVER thought it would be this hard and confusing when TTC..

And it’s not like my boyfriend and I can have sex every single day to just cover the basis. He works A LOT and is extremely tired because of it, so that’s why I’m trying to be really precise and make sure we have sex at the right times..

anyways, any advice would be nice because I’m not sure what to do, I’m so confused. 😭
