So, I was at work last night, last day of my 12 hour shift. I went to use the bathroom, and I thought, my urine smells weird. Few hours after, after I went and check on a patient, I felt like my uterus dropped and thought I was having severe ligament pain which I’ve been having the past few days as well. I was so worried but I waited till the end of my shift to call my MD. They informed me to go to ER right away so I can get checked for UTI and an ultrasound can be done since I’m having pelvic discomfort. I went to ER, they found I have UTI and they told me that they were glad I went as Untreated UTI can cause preterm birth and I’m high risk. The bonus is a saw my little one moving around but the downside is another 2 days of rest. The doctor told me that it’s not probably round ligament pain that I was feeling but UTi symptoms already. They put me on Macrobid. I’m 15w5 days.
