I’ve been having some light spotting and cramping for several days now. Had an ultrasound last Friday and they saw a gestational sac and a yolk sac but said I was a bit too early to see a pole.

Saw my OB Thursday and my HCG count was 3780. This morning it was 3566. I talked to the doc on call and she said it looked like a possible miscarriage. But to wait to see if I actually started bleeding. As soon as I got home from running errands I started bleeding but only when I went to the bathroom.

So I went to the ER. I’m still waiting for the results from another HCG count but the ultrasound looked the same as the first one. The tech didn’t say it but I don’t think she heard a heartbeat. I’m 6/5.

Sitting here waiting is killing me. It’s so heartbreaking.

So many other women around me are having or had babies they didn’t expect or want and we tried so hard and were so excited.

I’m just lost for words right now.
