When’s the best time to start dating? And how did you meet your BF

I’m going into high school and HELL I’m nervous! I just want to make sure I’m good and that I’m not completely foolish to start dreaming. Like, is it weird that I dream of having a BF? I’ve been a single Pringle all my life and have never had a BF!! So I kinda wanna know what it’s like. I’ve never been kissed by a guy, I’m a virgin and my life is sad....

I had my first relationship freshman year. Our dates were supervised, things like getting dropped off at the movies or dinner while a parent was there, or hanging out at one of our houses. We ended up staying together until my junior year. I would say you’re ready to start dating either freshman or sophomore year, but don’t rush into things, especially being sexually active. That takes things to another level and adds worries like pregnancy and STIs. Don’t stress too much over a relationship. Guys are really immature at that age. Focus on friendships, getting involved in school, spending time with family, and grades. A relationship will come along when it’s meant to.

listen I'm a be a sophomore and I started dating in 7th grade. you live and learn, and I think I had the best relationship when it was the middle of freshman year but I'm rebellious and he was older so I mean shit happens. But freshman year I guess. don't rush into things though. It exciting to think and wanna feel and do things but in the end do it when you know you can do it again with no problems and feel comfortable

Focus on yourself! You’ll date when you’re meant to. I’ve talked to people here and there but I’ve never been in a relationship and I’m about to start my sophomore year of college. I promise you, you’ll be fine being single. I don’t think you’re too young to date if you wanted to, as long as your parents are okay with it. It’s totally normal to want a boyfriend!

I’m going into junior year now. I’m a quite odd person so bear with me a bit.
1. My first boyfriend was someone I really liked, or so I thought. We rushed the relationship out of lust, and he would get jealous really easily. And he would say he’s disappointed in me. Turns out he’s a controlling jerk. Broke up with me and two weeks later he’s dating my friend. So My friend, K and my other friend S along with my ex is keeping it a secret from me, but I caught on and so did everyone else. Geez I really got mad at S for lying to me about it, and K for letting her lie in my face. I felt really betrayed that time. Later on while they were dating I would get sexually harassed by my ex. And K ended up dumping him. 
2. I’ll tell you the story of three relationships. Let’s call one of them OX. O has just gotten out of a relationship and got in a new one with X. X loved her, for the first month or so. Later on, he found her too clingy (because the honeymoon phase is over) and told everyone about how she likes it in bed. So here a shit ton of people in school thinks O is a slut and she refused to go to school for a while. I was dating S. I know S liked me, but I needed the affection to be shown. And after the honeymoon phase, I was out of love. I broke up with S and found a new crush a week after. This other couple NM was rather close to each other. My friend C had been cheated on by M. M asked out N while he was dating C. Now I still don’t understand why, but N got together with M anyways and C had their heart broken. 
3. I know too many relationships stories, so here is my current one. I had a crush, but it turned out he had a girlfriend. I really like his girlfriend. But anyways, he would neglect her and I felt bad for her. He and I snapchat everyday and all the time, so I know he doesn’t have much to do but he still neglects her. And they broke up. Later I agreed to hook up with him if I ever felt like it. He’s been showing me a but more affection lately and it’s gotten me confused.

I don’t usually post on here buttt I’m gonna share my story. So basically, freshman year I had 3 “boyfriends”. The first lasted about 2 months only and my parents were pretty okay with it being that I was in high school and I was pretty trust worthy. There was nothing really wrong with that relationship I had my first real kiss and “make out” with him. I was just young and wasn’t feeling it anymore and broke up with him 2 days after Valentine’s Day. Shortly after I got a new boo and was geeked over this kid I thought he was the best thing ever but I knew it wouldn’t last. Things were just awkward and he was the first guy I ever did anything really sexual with but there was no oral or intercourse. He ended up cheating on me and leaving me. Honestly I wasn’t that hurt because I had accepted the fact that high school is just meant for learning and all that. Wellllllllll the end of freshman year came around and my mom was going through something rough and it really affected me and made me pretty depressed. Through this she had been trying to get me to go to my youth group at the church across the street for some extra help. Jokingly the first time I went I asked my little sister if there was any “cute guys” and she said there was this one cute guy that I would probably like. Well long story short I fell in love at first sight and we grew an amazing bond that is impossible to break. we’re still together to this day and our two years is on Thursday. We fell in love when we were young and we’ve been through hell and back. Our families haven’t always gotten along. We’ve both fell back before. We broke up for a little amount of time and did stuff we regret. But we always found each other and I wouldn’t trade any of it for the world. The meaning of all of this is you gotta go through some rough to get the good and real love doesn’t mean it all comes easy. Is take patience, love, trust (even when it’s hard to find), and a whole lot of hope. Don’t rush into anything, it’ll come when the time is right, or at the most unexpected moment like mine.

Well I started dating my SO my freshmen year and his senior year. He was a football player and I was a cheerleader. He met my parents and asked my dad if he could take me to see a movie. We went on dates like that all the time!

Well, if I had to suggest anything for you, I would wait until at least your sophomore year. Most people turn 16 and start getting jobs around this time so you and your bf will actually be able to go out for dates and do stuff, because otherwise, you're just holding hands in the hallway with a cute title and unnecessary drama. 
However, everyone is different and has different levels of maturity so there's no real age for when you should start dating.
