Am I overweight? What should my BMI be?

I currently fluctuate between 156 to 153, I’m around 5’5 I guess. The doctor scale says slightly different (162 lbs), so I don’t really know what to believe since their scales differ from other scales at their offices. I was diagnosed with OCD and anxiety since I was kid, I’m also epileptic and am on a variety of medications. I can’t stop thinking about my weight, I don’t enjoy food anymore because all I can think about is my weight 24/7 and I’m completely miserable. My job is being a house painter and am usually dead tired when I get home (it’s intense and not an easy job). I try not to eat too many carbs, I drink unsweet tea, coffee, and rarely drink diet soda. I just don’t know what to do. I’ve been told by my doctor that I’m just slightly over weight but not bad. Am I really bad off? Sorry for the lengthy post.
