Can’t afford the IUD, advice?
Hi ladies! I’m hoping I can get some advice. I’m 17 (turning 18 in less than a month) and I want to get the copper IUD, but it’s really expensive and my family doesn’t have any insurance, since we can’t afford it.
This is the only form of birth control I would ever consider now, since the hormonal ones make me act crazy.
I will be going to college this fall, and my college has the best financial aid, and even provides insurance to students who don’t have any, and maybe it would cover birth control. However, I would rather get it sooner than later, especially since, at college, it would be such a hassle, especially since freshman aren’t allowed to have cars.
So yeah, let me know if y’all have any advice!
