My family is super outgoing and my girlfriend is quiet so they just don’t get it. Also, she’s not the rich Jewish boy they imagined for me, but a poor Christian girl from Arkansas lol. It’s gotten better over the years, but I’ve slowly accepted it will probably never be amazing.

I appreciate that my family doesn’t put their two cents, they all tell me if I’m happy they’re happy and actually mean it. They never been the judge mental type. 
They don’t get involved, which makes everything so much easier. :-)

It's just my mom since my dad passed away, but she hates my fiance with a passion and we have been together over 3 years and are getting married next year. My mother of course says she will not be attending the wedding.

I couldn't answer yes or no. My mom likes him but I know my dad and brother play a front when they're around him. Cuz whenever I get in an argument with my brother or dad they'll always bring up my husband.
