I read online that I should freeze and save my colostrum for my babies first feed, is this necessary?

No. Where did you read that? You can produce colostrum throughout your pregnancy and it will not run out before baby comes. Stimulation of the breasts can cause contractions so leave your colostrum alone.

From personal experience, my boobs leaked like waterfalls when they put my daughter on my chest when she was born. There’s no need to freeze what you’re producing right now

I wouldn’t suggest this at all, its soo much easier to nurse baby on demand no bottles to warm or wash, and like someone else said youll still produce colostrum 3-5 days after babys born(then milk will come in) so theyll get enough
