Can people with high blood pressure take Plan B?

It has ingredients similar to birth control and my doctor took me off birth control a year ago because I have high blood pressure.

Yes, Plan B is a progestin only pill & progestin only methods are typically safe for those with high blood pressure. 
I developed high blood pressure while on a combination pill, my obygyn took me off it & told me to see my primary to further deal with my blood pressure & then come back for a different method. I saw my primary & got on blood pressure medication. When I went back to my obgyn, I got the Nexplanon arm implant, which is also progestin only & it hasn’t affected my blood pressure negatively at all.
