Is she too big for her car seat?

She’s 10 lbs away from the weight limit but I feel like she’s getting to long.

She's fine! :) It's okay for their legs to hang out a little because they will simply curl them up in the rear facing position, which is now recommended until age 2!

I can’t see the top of the car seat because of the folded shade, but I think she might be too tall. There needs to be at least 1” of seat beyond the top of her head. 
The legs are not a problem, but if her head comes within an inch of the top of the seat, she is too big.

What the height limit? Usually babies reach that before the weight limit and your baby looks very close to reaching the height limit. 
I think our infant seat had a 28 or 30 inch height limit so we reached it around 7 months.

Depends on the guidelines for that seat - mine says her head has to be at least one inch below the top - looks like you’re getting really close.

I just looked! It goes up to 32 inches and she’s only 27 3/4 inches.

We had our son in his infant seat till he was a bit over a year old! Haha He was always just really lanky and skinny so he just always fit.

There is a height limit on the seats. It is usually that there is 1 inch between the top of the baby's head and the top of the car seat.

So long as her head isn’t above the top of the car seat she’s fine! She looks good to me!
