Anyone 40+ get pregnant and not have a mc?

I’m 40 and just found out I’m 4 weeks pregnant. I have a 11 year old. A few months ago my husband and I decided to get my IUD removed and try to have another child.

Now I’m pregnant.

And now I’m worried.

I feel really good about this pregnancy. Which I don’t want to say out loud. Well, I felt good until I started reading too much. And now I am just worried.

I really want to be enjoying this time. I didn’t even know I could get pregnant right now, so that is something to be thankful for.

Alas.... perhaps I just need a little encouragement.
