What is a soul?

Do you believe souls exist? If so, define your idea of a soul? Do animals have a soul?

Answer

I do believe in souls. I think of the soul as a form of energy. Soul consciousness is what I label it as. And I do believe that animals have souls.

I don't have an answer to any of that but it did remind me of an old Twilight Zone episode: there was an elderly man who died and he had his dog with him. He was walking along with his dog and he saw a man who claimed to be the gatekeeper to Heaven. The elderly man was about to go through and he was told that dogs weren't allowed. The elderly man decided that he didn't want to go if his dog couldn't come with him so he walked away. Then the elderly man saw a different gatekeeper and asked if his dog could come in too. He was told of course this is Heaven. The first gatekeeper was really a test and the first gatekeeper was the gatekeeper to Hell.
