My father has a tattoo of my mother's name on his chest... They have been divorced for 17 years and he has remarried... So no. Never get a name tattoo, unless they cannot leave you (like parents grand parents and kids or even pets) That's a rule I live by, more power to you if you feel like my way doesn't work for you.
