Back in August 2017, my best friend and I started like this guy. He noticed her and they started “speaking”. It never came to anything it was just 8 months of him trying and her brushing him off, like she would say she wanted to go out and then never show up to arrangements or cancel. I still reaallyyyy liked him but I said nothing. They stopped because he heard that she didn’t want a relationship when she told him she did. I have been best friends with this guy for yeeaarsss, and 2 months ago (they had ended by this point) he told me he had realised he had feelings for me. I told him I did too, and the next day when I was about to tell my friend what had happened, she told me she still loved him. Well shoot. I was screwed but I text her that night and told her everything. She cried but said it was okay. 2 weeks later, this guy and I started dating, however my friend had started to like another dude so I presumed it was fine. I feel like she always gets what she wants, but I really really love this boy, both as a best friend and as a boyfriend. Please help ladies :)
