Currently 12weeks pregnant and I got a kitten I’m 18 moving into my apartment in 3 days and my grandma is judging me for getting a cat saying that I will have a miscarriage or a stillborn baby. Is that true? I know the litter is dangerous but my fiancé is going to change it.

I have a cat, had him all through my last pregnancy, as long as you aren't changing the litter you are fine. Don't let it worry you at all.

I have 3 cats. My fiancée does the litter as well. Just make sure you wash you hands often and you will be fine 😀

I would just make sure you don’t change litter like you said! I’ve always heard cats can suck air from baby. I’m not even sure if this is true, this is what my step mom used to always say. But like with any pet, I would watch the cat around the baby. Good luck to you mama❤️
