I’m waiting at the vet right now for them to finish taking samples from my yellow lab. He’s dropped a lot of weight suddenly and is very lethargic, hoping it’s just diabetes (I know it’s bad, but manageable, our terrier is already insulin controlled) but the vet fears kidney disease 😔 We won’t get results back until Thursday probably due to the holiday but please send all the good thoughts you can our way! Our boy is almost 12 so I know he’s had a good life for a big dog but are we ever truly ready to say goodbye to them? We own his brother too and I can’t even imagine what losing one would do to the other, they’re so connected 😰
