Can prolonged use of the pill cause infertility?

I'm just wondering if this is a possibility. I won't go into detail as it ruffles feathers, but its basically best case scenario if it possibly could cause infertility. I've been on it for about 5 years and I basically never intend to stop taking it until either a doctor allows me a sterilization surgery, or menopause.

Is there any cases of this happening?
