I used digital and didn't test until a missed period but clear blue digital will give you a positive at 9dpo

Personally I don't trust anything that isn't a clear, dark line. Too many faint positives on these apps turn out to be dye runs, evapsnit indents. I use pink tests but don't believe faint lines on any test.
