I'm really depressed before and during my period and I don't know what to do. Please help.
I have depression. I've had it for almost 3 years. I also have anxiety and mood swings. I take antidepressants and medicine for my other issues. I've noticed for a while like the past 3 or more months that every month I get super sad and depressed before and during my period. But I haven't told my parents or psychologist because I hate talking to people about my period. I've had my period since I was 10. And it's just something I like to keep to myself. I don't like anyone knowing when I have my period and I don't like talking to people about it not even my friends. I've noticed every month I get so depressed I feel hopeless but not suicidal, I sleep a lot, I don't want to do anything, and I don't want to talk to anyone. I don't know if I have PMDD which is a disorder where u get super depressed before and during your period. Or if it's just my hormones. I know no one is a doctor on here. But maybe some people have had similar experiences and can help me figure out what to do. I honestly don't know what to do. And I don't know if I can take any medication to help solve it. Please help me.
