Diagnosed with PCOS

I'm 23 yrs old and was just recently diagnosed with PCOS (3 weeks ago). Only been married for just under a year. We weren't planning on trying for a baby until after our first anniversary, but now I'm too scared to even try, knowing that my risk of miscarrying is high (if I do manage to even get a positive). I'm petrified.

My parents lost my eldest sister a year before I was born to premature birth, Downs syndrome and other numerous medical conditions. Finally being forced to switch the life support off when she was 4 months old and no longer able to breathe or do anything on her own (she was no longer there).

I don't want to feel that pain of losing a child/baby. I can't cope with death. Luckily I haven't yet experienced the death of a loved one and I don't want to start with my own baby.
