To induce or not to? Hmm

My due date is the 18th but my doctor is out that whole week... we could be induced on the 13th if we wanted. Or do we take the risk and wait for her to get back on the 22nd? 🤷🏻‍♀️🤨 Decisions decisions... any opinions welcomed!!

Induce. It’ll be planned out, you’ll have your doctor who you are comfortable with. What if you go into labor or have some kind of complication when your dr is gone? Will you be ok with whoever takes your drs patients when they are gone?

I would never choose to be induced. I will never understand why people do it when not medically necessary. That’s just me though.

It really depends on the vision you have for your birth. If you’re open to anything then I’d induce.
