I do this interschool Debating competition that has 5 rounds in total disclosing the finals. Round Happens about a month apart or so. This round was round 4.

My crush who I text often does this competition too, and he’s from my brother school (I go to an all girls school and he goes to an all boys).

The debating comp is held at his school’s quad. The quad is surrounded by classrooms and you have to find which room your debating group is in (posted on a the wall).

Ok let’s get to what happened.

I walk upstairs with some of my friends to the room I’m in, and he is standing right outside the room facing his friend reading off cue cards/practising. He doesn’t seem to recognise me or is acting that, but I walk past him and pat him on the arm. Then he turns to me and says “Oh, Hello!” Like pretty happily.

I just kept walking past w my friends lol. After that, I was talking w my friends at the end of that corridor and they were like “What as that?!” Hehe.. I walk back to the classroom and he’s not outside the classroom anymore. But then he COINCIDENTALLY walks out of the classroom I’m in and smiles at me. Then I was like “Can I touch your hair?” Because we agreed that I would play with his hair hahaha, and he literally bends over so his hair was facing me (even he knows I’m too short for him..) and I touched his hair. HIS HAIR IS SO CUTE! Then I entered the room and he left.

So I was debating that night, and I was sitting in the chair. The rest of my team was around the classroom on their phones. I was discussing rebuttal thingos with my other two debating teammates when all of a sudden...Guess who came in. Yep, Him! His excuse to come in was to apparently give me this whole pile of lined paper. He put it on my table and was like “Here’s some lines paper for you to write notes on”. My other teammates though, they just stared and judged him in silence, it was only me and him talking haha. Then one of my teammates asked him to leave and he and he grabs out his phone still standing inside the classroom and answers a call? (But I think he acted that out, no phone ring or talking was heard). The whole room just sat in silence as he was talking on the phone. Exvept for me, I was laughing softly. Then my friend looked like she had enough and was like “Take the call outside!” And he does (poor guy) Yeah and we said goodbye to each other.

After the debate, I was searching all around for him because I had some time before my parents would come o pick me up. I saw him going outside with 2 other guys with their school bags and everything. I then ran up to him and he heard my steps, turned around (along with the 2 other guys) and smiled. Then when I reached him, I put my left arm around his shoulder (hugging kind of thing) and he put his left arm on my back. SO WE HUGGED YAYAYAYAYAYA! All while his two friends stared in silence. Then he literally ditches his friends to walk away with me. He just followed me as I walked away without telling his friends anything lol, and started asking me about how my debate went. I had to part ways with him because I was afraid my parents could show up any time.

That was my Experience with my crush on Debate night. I was so happy after what happened that night. When I told my friends they literally started screaming hahaha. Next round is in about a month, and it’s also the last round, so I’m planning to use the best of it.
