Hi everyone!!

So I’m in high school and I work at a restaurant with a bunch of other kids that graduated from my school. One of the guys kept flirting with me so I figured I’d take my shot and text him & ask him to go to a local fair with me.

He clearly but subtly turned me down... it was so embarrassing and I could totally get past it but 1) I have to see him at work! and 2) I really don’t want things to be awkward now because I really enjoyed talking to him.

Please just any advice so I can stop feeling like I made such a huge mistake asking him 😥
