Anyone else with a low-lying posterior placenta?

Curious if anyone else was told this at their anatomy scan. They told me it’s 2 1/2 cm away from cervix so that’s good! 
Any mention of concern about the placenta being posterior?

Me. I won’t know if it moves till the 12. I’m a wreck. I’m afraid of a c section.

My placenta is low and is already covering my cervix. On top of that, my cervix is measuring short.

No.. Midwife was sure it would move and I won't know until I have a scan when I'm 36 weeks. I'm very hopeful and I don't really think of it at all. Worst case scenario means I'll have to have a c- section.

Posterior or anterior doesn’t typically matter and is generally about 50/50 in pregnancies. Though with low lying placenta, posterior is actually better! My placenta is so low that it’s completely covering my cervix and its anterior which means they’ll have to go through the placenta to get the baby via scheduled c section which is more risky for bleeding. I definitely wish mine was posterior. You’re in a good place. 😊
