Should I play D&D again?

Back in middle school, my friends were real geeks , you know? We evolved from playing/trading Pokémon cards to video games, comic books and playing Magic. Eventually, my friends began to play Dungeons & Dragons. I learned a little bit, but before I could get the hang of it, I moved away.

Times passed and now I find myself across D&D; again. I know my nephew would love the game, which means I’d have someone to play with and a chance to fulfill that childhood nostalgia. But is it worth it? My sister says it’s a waste of money, but I find it so interesting. Should I? Thoughts?
