Any crochet / knitters in here?

I’m working on a rainbow blanket for our rainbow baby. I was making a similar one for a friend when we had our first miscarriage, and couldn’t finish that until we had a good scan this time around (we had another miscarriage in the middle) so baby finally received his blanket when he was about two months old!

My original plan was that we’d have the same blanket (well - as same as can be when hand made!) but I’ve changed it a bit as it’s now for our rainbow rather than sunshine babe ❤️🌈

Would love to see what you guys have on the hooks / needles!

Here’s some pics of the finished one for a friend and my WIP (I don’t actually like mine as much 😆 so typical!!!) I also feel like the dark indigo is a cop out and I ought to have got a proper purple, but that was the only purpleish shade in this range of cotton and I really can’t face now frogging it in any case!!!
