I'm 39 weeks & yesterday July 3rd I got my cervix checked at 7pm. As my Dr checked my cervix I felt an immediate strong contraction which lasted about a minute. My dr said I'm 3 1/2 cm dilated & my baby is in the position he's supposed to be in & I've already lost my mucous plug a while ago & this is my first baby. Since I got my cervix checked, I've been having really strong painful & lasting contractions. They are so painful to the point where I can't talk nor move much, but they're irregular. They come & go & usually more painful than the last or the same pain. They keep on happening since i got my cervix checked, now they're becoming frequent & painful that I began crying. I want to know what do you all suggest i do? since the pain Is so strong I feel like i cant handle it anymore. Then again I don't want to go to the hospital again just to be sent back & I'm doubting myself that my baby will be ready to come out.
