So my period is a day late , I took a test today and it came back not pregnant.. have anyone went through this??

I have. I was a week late when I got a bfp with my twins, and usually they say hcg levels are higher with twins.

It could just be early for the test, but it's also normal to be a day or so late

Yes it could still be too early. Also if you took a digital test, those require more hormone , meaning you have to be further along (like a week or two) to show up. Go get first response and test again.
