I get tested regularly about every four months this year bc the guy I was with kind of an asshole. However after I broke up with him I haven’t been sexually active for a year now.(No penetrative, no oral) I recently gotten tested again and my results said my RPR was reactive, test for syphilis. I don’t understand all my tests have been non-reactive till now. This has me wondering if I should sue the planned parenthood I went to (I took a test there and nothing showed up.) I couldn’t get an appointment with my regular gyno. I was stressed out and accidentally scratched myself in the shower rushing to work. I got really freaked out it was something else so I made an appointment with my local Planned Parenthood. Where I was taken to an exam room. Can someone please explain this to me how I possibly picked up syphilis?
