When do most people have their baby shower?

When do most people have their baby shower? Hubby and I live about 560 miles from my family and we get snow starting around November. I'm not due until December and I was thinking about having my baby shower in my home state in October. My hope is to avoid the snow and get to celebrate with my family and friends. What do you guys think?

I’m due in November but am having my shower the end of September out of town. I figure any later than 32 weeks I would be miserable traveling. Plus it gives time to get anything you didn’t receive at the shower.

I’m due in late November and I’m having my baby shower in my hometown (out of state) in mid-September because i don’t want to risk not being able to tolerate the trip home. 
Some family where i currently live have offered to throw me one about a month before.

I’m 13 hours away from home, having mine at 30 weeks. It was the easiest way with work and family schedules.

I’m due 11/7 and having mine 8/4 as that was when my hostess was available.  🤷‍♀️. I am showing already for sure and it gives me time to buy whatever else baby needs and RELAX.
