how many biethday presents should a toddler have?

hi ladies..

so its my sons birthday this weekend and myself and my partner are throwing him a big garden party. also he has around 20 presents to open. now today two of my close freinds ganged up on me and told me that him having so much for his birthday is "ridiculous" they also said ill make a rod for my own back as he will turn into a bratt ( by no way is that the case hes such a kind little boy) anyway it really annoyed me. so i thought id ask your ladies oppinions xx
