Nn for Diana that ISN’T Di?

Hi all, partner and I have shortlisted our boys’ and girls’ names for little peanut. We both LOVE Diana but are really struggling to come up with a nickname that isn’t Di, which we’re not keen on (no offence to all the lovely Dis out there!) - any thoughts? We have come up with Dee but have two family members called Dee already.

You don't have to use nicknames.  I have three girls: Eva, Sadie, and Alexa, and they all go by their full first names.

You can always choose a nickname not based on the name like Little, Bear, Scout, Boo etc. I call my daughter Potato since when she was born her head looked like a potato. My husband calls her Little since when she was born she was so little she fit in the palm of his hand. You could also use a combo of middle and first to make a nickname. My daughter is Evelyn Annalise In addition to the made up nicknames we call her Evie or EvieAnne.

Maybe insist on no nickname? My name is Nicole and my parents hated Niki so I am always referred to by my full name. Some close friends call me Nic, but that's it.
