Hey everyone, so I didn't want to post this in my daughter's due date group because it isn't active. I have some questions about her development.

-She is 16 months old, about to be 17 months. She can read some sight words, like she says the word "Texas" whenever she sees it. She likes to paint, and she has really strong words association, and understands multiple meanings of words. She has a pretty big vocabulary, including words we don't use often like eyebrows, Longhorn, unicorn, etc. She also knows where a lot of items are in the house, she knows where to look for them (even her dad doesn't do that much, lol). She does a lot of stuff that strikes me as not typical for her age. Is this stuff pretty typical for a 16 month old?

If it isn't, how do I deal with a baby on the way that may or may not live up to what his or her sister can do throughout their childhoods, and possibly their adulthoods? That is a big fear for my husband and I.
