Okay so , I’m 16 I don’t have sex very often but when I do I get extremely worried about getting pregnant even tho I’m safe 😂, I try to stop but I just need it sometimes 🤷🏻‍♀️ so my thing is I live with a single dad that is def AGAINST BOYS lol , I’ve been thinking about asking him to go to the doctors and saying that I always have bad cramps (which I do) & hoping they’ll suggest the pill or something to help with it cause I heard it does , and he doesn’t know much about girl stuff so maybe it could work ? idk what should I do ???

You can urge him to take you to the doctors and open up to your doctor directly about it. The doctor will keep it confidential but if insurance covers it, your dad may find out through that. I suggest going to planned parenthood, let them know your situation. They can put you on a free/reduced program and ultimately help you with birth control. They helped me with mine at 17! Got the implant. They will talk you through all the options. I don't recommend the shot though, it really messes you up.

tell him you have really irregular periods and that the pill can help to prevent it. or get the job every three months. if you have a family planning or something they don't tell your parents if you go on your own

I think you should be honest. I'm 28 and have an 11yr old.. so I know lol but if it don't turn out to be the reaction you want there's usually free clinics you can go to for bc. Without a parent. it was when I was 16
