Confused and frustrated

We enrolled in health insurance on June 21st through a third party enrollment company. We were given an effective date of July 1st. I’ve called bcbs and they have absolutely no record of us. I’ve called the enrollment company and they had no information on what is going on and why we haven’t been enrolled. I spoke to the HR lady at my husband’s work and she told us that insurance had kicked in and should be active. She confirmed that we should have bcbs. We don’t have insurance cards and I can’t tell if they took out money for insurance until my husband gets his pay stub at work tonight. I had scheduled a physical for my husband, my 15 month old’s 12 months check up, and my first prenatal visit for next Tuesday. I’m having to cancel them because we don’t have a membership number to give them for insurance and we CANNOT afford to pay out of pocket. We don’t qualify for ANY government assistance, so that isn’t even an option. I feel trapped and frustrated. Nobody has answers and it’s impossible to get the enrollment company on the phone. (they don’t know anything anyways!)
