my first baby was a loss from a threatened pregnancy 
my second baby was just old blood

No a threatened MC means your spotting/ bleeding and other then a positive pregnancy test your pregnancy has not yet been confirmed via ultrasound bc it’s too early to see anything. The doctor should be doing a set of hcg blood tests with in 48hrs apart to confirm your levels are doubling. In my experience the doctor was always right. Sorry hun
