Hey guys! So my husband told me from the beginning of our pregnancy that he didn’t want to know the gender of the baby. He was pretty adamant about it, and after I saw how much it meant to him, decided to wait.

Everyone kept asking us about the gender and they were all so surprised when we would tell them we didn’t want to know.

Our OB office even called with the gender results a few weeks ago and we told her we didn’t want to know and the nurse said she would put that in our file and make sure no one told us.

Fast forward, I am 14 weeks today and this early morning I checked my email and saw that my OB had posted some new test results. I thought they were the results of our nuchal that we had last week. Well- I was wrong! They were the chromosomal results from a few weeks ago- along with the gender.

WE ARE HAVING A GIRL!

I immediately was like “oh shit” about finding out and immediately told my husband what happened. He’s over the moon excited about having a baby girl- only slightly disappointed that it won’t be a surprise but he’s like “who cares I’m having a girl!”
