Hand Me Down Crib?

So my brother in law has two kids and they aren't having any more. They took their crib apart and gave it to my father in law to store at his house.

I'm now 13 weeks and due in January.

They really want us to take this crib. I can appreciate saving money and taking used items. I'm fine with that. I dont know how I feel about a used crib that I haven't seen put together.

Has anyone else taken a used crib? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
