Really trying to get a jump on planning my shower because I like to plan ahead for everything if possible but I realized I don't have hardly any friends. I have some family close by and my fiance has a bunch of family close but his moms side doesnt like me much because I am white and he's black so I'm having a very hard time with the guest list and it's honestly more frustrating than I feel it should be. I also should mention I don't really know his family as well because I feel alienated around a lot of them and just try to avoid any confrontation.
