Low AMH high FSH

Alison, 🌈 👶🏻 born 7/26/19

I’m 39 and recently had two miscarriages back to back. One was in December 2017 and one was in April 2018. Because of my age I was referred to a fertility specialist to do testing. (I don’t have any kids yet). Anyway, so far all testing has come up normal, my hsg was normal so was my prolactin and estradiol. Waiting on my blood clotting studies. The only thing abnormal is that my FSH I just found out is high at 16.8 (nurse said it should be under 10). My AMH is also low ( I don’t know the number yet, the doc is going to tell me when we meet with him on Monday) but they told me it’s low. Both times I got pregnant really fast within two months... I can’t believe I am going through this. I don’t know much about what it means to have a high FSH and low AMH but from what I’ve read it deals with quantity and quality of the eggs and it doesn’t seem good. Just really starting to feel hopeless throughout this whole process. We have our meeting scheduled with the RE on Monday to go over everything as well as a treatment plan if necessary. I’m worried he’s gonna advise

IVF. Because I get preg so easily I didn’t think I needed

IVF. I thought that was only for Those who can’t conceive. If he tells me that I’m not even sure we’ll be able to do it as I can’t afford 20 grand. I just thought when I got pregnant that was it... my first due date is on 10 days and instead I’m going through all this. Does anyone have any insight into what low AMH and high FSH could mean and is there hope still to Carry a pregnancy to term?? I’m trying to prepare myself as much as possible for my appt. on the 9th. Thanks.
