i haven’t shaved or groomed down there in my life... i don’t really like how it looks and feels. my mom won’t let me shave or wax... what should i do?

Your genitals are your own private business and it makes me so mad when parents are so stubborn they try to tell their daughters what they can and can't use for their periods and how to groom their hair. If you are uncomfortable with your hair do what you need to do to be comfortable. Since it's never been groomed you'll need to trim it all down with scissors first then shave. Be very careful, use a brand new razor and use plenty of shave gel or soap.

I said shave without permission because that’s what I did. I understand that technically parents rule your life until you leave home, but this is something more personal. Do what you want to. It’s not like your mum will find out, unless she regularly checks down there???

Trimming is all I do, along with touch ups of course. Shaving is too much effort and too much upkeep. It also itches as the hair grows back. Plus, every now and then you’ll get those god awful ingrown hairs.😖
So I just trim and shape it up down there a bit. If it’s a special night with my man I’ll go ahead and shave for him. Although, I really don’t think he cares if I do or not. lol.

I mean if you do anything what’s your mom gonna do? Glue it back on😂. I understand the whole “parents control you and your body until you move out” but it’s not like they’ll check. I’ve been shaving down there for like a year and nobody knew until recently. Do you. It’s your parts😂
