Are peanuts and almonds okay to eat during pregnancy?

So I’ve been having almonds a couple times a week, and pb&j; sandwiches. My hubby called when he was at the grocery store and asked if I wanted anything. I said....a small pack of peanut M&Ms.; He asked, “Can u eat nuts while you’re pregnant?”. I actually haven’t given it a thought and can’t find much online. Now I’m concerned...😞

Yes. And there is actually some new research that eating foods like peanuts during pregnancy and breastfeeding lowers the likelihood your baby will be allergic.

Yes it’s safe unless you’re allergic. My dr actually recommend almonds while pregnant as a healthy snack

If you aren’t allergic then it’s perfectly fine. 
They actually say eating peanuts and things that people can have allergies to such as fish, shellfish, nuts, lactose/milk products, etc. can give your baby a better chance at not having that allergy. Whether or not that is the real case, I don’t know. But I’d like to believe it’s true and can kinda see how it could possibly work.
I can, however promise you that if you’ve been eating peanuts and it hasn’t affected you any then it’s not hurting your baby. Eat them nuts away girl!

I had peanut butter almost everyday while pregnant. I asked my doctor and she said if I’m not allergic there’s no problem.
