Hi everyone, Can anyone have gotten result as trisomy 21 as below 1:250 in Triple marker screening test. my test results shows as 1:229 which my doctor told as risk in trisomy 21.so she asked me to admit in hospital for amniocentesis FISH test next week to check for any genetic disorder problem. I am more afraid to do this test as there may be chance for miscarriage. I don't want to do this test but my family forcing to do this. Have anyone done this FISH test or amniocentesis before. did anyone have issues like miscarriage or any pain after this test. please respond.
