Someone in my family is currently in the hospital for threatening suicide. She was hysterical last night, so her partner called someone to transport her to a mental health facility, but she said she wanted to go to the hospital instead. I haves few questions. 1. Is there anyway we can speak to her while she’s there? Or does that just depend on the hospital?

2. How can I support her after she’s released? I’ve heard that there’s a higher risk of suicide after being hospitalized. She lives 3 hours from me.
